History of ESA

Our 50th anniversary (2008) is still some time away. An early (!) call for an enthusiastic historian interested in writing an article for the Society to mark the occasion. Such an article was written for our 25th anniversary. The Society’s archives are currently housed in Sydney but can be made available to an author elsewhere. Please contact the editor.

The Society’s Archives are currently missing the Annual Scientific Meeting Proceedings from 1960– 1964. Anyone who has a copy they would be willing to lend for copying please contact the editor.
