News The
Australian and New Zealand Acromegaly Registry (ANZAR) Working Party met in Sydney
on the 21st February. The immediate aims of the Registry are to define the demographics,
to review the treatment trends and outcomes of patients with Acromegaly. Databases
for retrospective and prospective studies are being developed. External advice
was sought regarding the Ethics and IT requirements of Regisrty establishment,
and a number of working models were examined. The Working Party plan to make a
progress report to the ESA at this year's Annual Scientific Meeting. Please contact
