Research Award to Professor Henry Burger

Congratulations to Professor Henry Burger who was recently awarded the 2000 NAMS / Wyeth-Ayerst Peri-menopause Research Award. This award recognizes an individual whose published works have increased understanding of clinical management of health issues pertaining to perimenopausal women. Professor Burger's award-winning manuscript entitled "Prospectively measured levels of serum follicle stimulating hormone, estradiol and the dimeric inhibins during menopausal transition in a population based cohort of women" was co-authored by EC Dudley, JL Hopper, N Groome, JR Guthrie, A Green, and L Dennerstein and published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism in November 1999 (Vol 84:4025-4030).
