Australian Representatives on the Committee of the International Society of Endocrinology

The ESA is seeking nominations for a representative on the Committee of the International Society of Endocrinology on which Professor John Funder is an executive member. Professor Rob Baxter, who has very ably served the ESA on the committee, has indicated he will be happy to stand down if a suitable replacement is found. The Committee meets once every four years and is involved in the selection of sites for the International Congress of Endocrinology, the composition of the Program Organising Committee and the election of the ISE executive. The representative should be a member who has contributed significantly to, and will continue to serve, the interests of the ESA.

Please forward your nominations to Dr Ben Canny, Honorary Secretary at esa@racp.edu.auafter obtaining your candidate’s approval. Nominations must be received by December 11, 2001. The selection will be determined by voting of Council.
