  • The aldosterone renin ratio (ARR) is recommended as a screening test for all patients with hypertension to assess for primary
    aldosteronism (PA).
  • Aldosterone and renin concentration may be affected by different medications.
  • PACT is designed to aid ARR interpretation, even if the patient is taking interfering medications at the time of the blood test.
